Also, not sure if it's a bug, but after patch 1.3, I now have to trade to follower, trade from follower, DROP IT, read it, select "do not read", take it, then read it, repeat. Trade the OI to follower, trade back, use, drop, repeat. If you're like me and enjoy showing off books in your shelves, use a follower instead. Using the same bookshelf multiple times will effectively break it, making it unusable. Could no longer find the discussion, and was wondering if anyone felt this was noteworthy. The rune charm on the second page of Skyrim's Oghma Infinitum is a known Icelandic charm in the real world. I think the Oghma Infinium, at least in Skyrim, is bound in flesh, specifically, Altmer, orc, redgard, and (in the top left portion) Dunmer, as well as two portions of Caucasian skin which might be either Imperial, Nord, Bosmer or Breton.- 87.177.10.216 21:31, 1 December 2011 (UTC) Yes, I'd imagine so, as both quests for the book in Oblivion and Skyrim require you to gather souls and essences of several races, so the book is probably made up of mortal races' flesh and powered by their lifeforce and souls. I imagine it is possible to do this repeatedly to get even higher, but I haven't tried. An extreme version of this, combining the console showracemenu command (where, if you change race and change it back again, it resets most skills to starting levels while preserving level and perks) with the bookshelf exploit (which will raise them all back to 100 again, albeit tediously) will get you to level 108 with all the extra perks that go with it. That raising of the skills may be sufficient to grant an extra level up to 82. Quillan Talk 13:20, 22 November 2011 (UTC) Although you can't raise skills above 100, you can use the Oghma to get beyond level 81 if, when you get there, you reduce some skills in the console and raise them again with the Oghma. It won't push skills past 100, so you wouldn't get anything if you did that. I picked it up last night, took the Path of Might (combat skills) and already had a Smithing of 100 I got no increase to smithing. 16 Issue with not getting levels with use.Ībove Level 81 with Oghma Infinium? Ĭould someone test getting a character up to 100 skill points everywhere with console commands, and then using the Oghma Infinitum? I'm curious to know if it can get you above level 81.9 Multi-Read Bug Still Exists (Confirmed on PS3).
